Dawn Recording:Sent9_01.mp3

Recordist's Notes:

Well, Hollis NH, also has no fall dawn "anything" these days, except a very
violent thundershower between 4:45 and 5:00 (total 0.6 inches of water, our
only rain in weeks) which left the gutters running, the trees dripping and
the crickets quite subdued. Thus, my alarm clock.

Local sunrise, here, was at 6:10 EDT, although the overcast made visual
discernment impossible for me. I recorded between 5:40 and 6:15, getting a
whole lotta drips. The ten seconds I selected was from about 6:00, with the
bell tones from a Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) and the distant call of a
Mourning Dove (Zenaida macoura) .

Equipment: HHb Portadisk, 2 Sennheiser ME-67, mounted on a tripod,
diverging at 45 degrees, with both the mics set to Bass rolloff, and the
HHb set to flat.
